Tullibody Community Development Trust
The motion
That the Parliament notes that Tullibody Community Development Trust is to receive a transformational and generous grant of more than £290,000 from the Scottish Land Fund (SLF) to purchase Tullibody Civic Centre, thanks to local volunteers stepping in to keep the facilities going for local residents; understands that an operating licence has been in place to allow the trust to hold activities and to keep the doors open, however, volunteers were not able to access certain parts of the building, such as the sports hall, due to issues with the roof; notes that, recently, volunteers secured funding to launch a café and community hub, with the Coalfields Regeneration Trust making a donation to help employ a café assistant, and commends everyone at the SLF and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, as well as all the volunteers, without whom it considers this would have not been possible.
