Universities Scotland Appointments
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Professor Gerry McCormac on being appointed Convener of Universities Scotland, and Professor Sally Mapstone, on being appointed its Vice Convener; notes that Gerry has been the Principal and Vice Chancellor of the University of Stirling since 2010 and Sally has held the same positions at the University of St Andrews since 2016; acknowledges that the appointments are for two years, and wishes Gerry and Sally all the best in these roles and their future careers.
