Diwali 2021

The motion

That the Parliament joins with those across the UK celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights, on 4 November 2021; recognises the cultural importance of Diwali to communities across Scotland and the UK; understands that it is one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs, and wishes all those celebrating a happy Diwali.
