Centenary Celebration of Victory Hall, Aboyne

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the centenary of Victory Hall in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire on 18 June 2022; understands that as part of the centenary celebrations there will be an open day at the hall with members of the community invited to come and share their memories of past events in the hall and how they would like the hall to be used going forward; further understands that, at the open day, there will be guided tours, a mini cinema, heritage displays and a family ceilidh in the evening; wishes the community of Aboyne a fantastic celebration of Victory Hall’s centenary, and hopes many more memories will be made in the hall over the next 100 years.
