Scottish Careers Week 2022

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the return of Scottish Careers Week; understands that this year’s event is being held from 7 to 11 November 2022, and will be its second year since inception in November 2021; considers that the week is about all things relating to skills, jobs and careers, enabling people of all ages to access the opportunities and career support available in Scotland to help shape their future, in addition to hearing from employers about skills in demand across Scotland, and the opportunities they create, and commends the work of Skills Development Scotland, with the support of partners and employers, in organising the event, as well as delivering Scotland's career service in schools, local career centres and online through Skills Development Scotland's My World of Work platform.
