Whytock Family Raises £7,850 for Gastrocan Cancer Research Fund

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the Whytock family for raising £7,850 for the Gastrocan Cancer Research Fund; recognises that this money will be used to fund laboratory research and clinical trials at Aberdeen University and NHS Grampian into the disease; understands that the money was raised in honour of the late Jack Whytock, whose last wish was to raise awareness of, and fund research into, oesophageal cancer, and sees this as a fitting act to celebrate his life.
