World Men's Curling Championship

The motion

That the Parliament sends its congratulations to the Scottish Curling team on winning gold at the World Men's Curling Championship; celebrates Scotland’s dominant 9-3 victory over hosts Canada in the final, to win gold for the first time since 2009; notes that Bruce Mouat’s team, including Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan, have now added the world title to their impressive record, including current European champions and a silver medal at the last Olympics, and wishes Team Mouat the best of luck in achieving its goal of replicating this performance at the next Olympics.
