Dunfermline Athletic Football Club Wins League 1
The motion
That the Parliament extends its congratulations to Dunfermline Athletic Football Club on winning the Scottish League 1 title; notes that the Pars secured an early title victory in Dunfermline after defeating Queen of the South at East End Park; acknowledges what it sees as the extraordinary turnaround for the football club, convincingly winning the trophy following its disappointing relegation in the last season, and wishes James McPake’s side the best of luck for next season in the Scottish Championship.
