Kippen Tennis Club Marks 40th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Kippen Tennis Club on its 40th anniversary; understands that Kippen Tennis Club was set up in the village of Kippen in 1983 and currently boasts around 100 members, with roughly half of the members being juniors; notes that Kippen Tennis Club is holding a series of events to celebrate its anniversary, including an Open Day, which takes place on 23 April 2023 and includes free tennis taster sessions open to those with no previous experience; further notes that Kippen Tennis Club plays competitively in the Central Scotland Doubles Leagues and that it has two men's teams, a women's team and junior teams playing across a number of divisions; wishes Kippen Tennis Club well on its anniversary, and hopes that it prospers for many more years.
