The Boat Inn, National Pub and Bar Awards County Winner 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Boat Inn, in Aboyne, on being awarded the County Winner title for Aberdeenshire in the National Pub and Bar Awards 2023, setting it apart as one of the best pubs in the UK; understands that the title was granted to 94 pubs across the UK to recognise their achievements throughout the year, including best practice in a number of operational categories such as training, sustainability, and food and drink; recognises that The Boat Inn will go on to compete to win the regional title, along with nine other venues in the north east; congratulates all of those who were nominated, and wishes The Boat Inn the best of luck in the upcoming regional and national awards.
