Connor Graham, 2023 Scottish Men’s Open Champion

The motion

That the Parliament sends its congratulations to Perthshire golfer, Connor Graham, who is the Scottish Men’s Open champion for 2023; notes that the competition was held at Meldrum House in Aberdeenshire; recognises the phenomenal achievement of the talented Blairgowrie golfer, who is champion at the age of 16; understands that he finished four shots clear of second placed Altin Van Der Merwe, and is the first Scot to win the competition since 2017, recording a final round of seven-under-par 63, and wishes Connor Graham, who was also the Junior Open Champion in 2022, the best of success for future competitions.
