Congratulating the Gate Charity in Central Alloa on Securing National Lottery Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Gate Charity on securing £10,000 of National Lottery Funding; understands that the group operates a range of services, including a foodbank in Central Alloa; notes that the National Lottery Funding will be utilised to fund the salary of the chief officer of the Gate Charity; recognises that the group, which was founded in December 2011 by members of the Ludgate church, provides a host of services including the "Books N Blether" groups and afternoon discos, which they host every three months; celebrates what it sees as the absolutely fantastic work done by this charity to support those in need and bring together people across the community, and wishes the Gate Charity all the very best for the future.
