Pitlochry Festival Theatre Wins Four Awards at Prestigious Ceremony
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Pitlochry Festival Theatre on winning four prizes at the 2023 Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland (CATS); notes that the theatre’s co-production with the National Theatre of Scotland of Enough of Him won awards for Best Production, Best New Play, and the Best Director prize for Orla O’Loughlin; further notes that actress, Sally Reid, won the Outstanding Performance award for her role in Willy Russell’s iconic play, Shirley Valentine, which opened at the theatre in October 2022, with the four awards being presented at a prestigious ceremony at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, and wishes Pitlochry Festival Theatre all the best for the future.
