University of St Andrews' Historic Double

The motion

That the Parliament sends its warmest congratulations to the University of St Andrews on topping The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024 and The Guardian University Guide 2024, with the latter being for the second year running; notes the prestige achieved by the Fife university in becoming the first ever further education establishment to achieve this accolade outside of Oxford and Cambridge, and commends Dame Professor Sally Mapstone, her outstanding staff and students, and all of the partners of the university within the local community, who made this outstanding achievement possible.
