Care Experienced Week 2023

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Care Experienced Week 2023, which runs from 22 to 29 October; believes that the week is an opportunity to celebrate the care experienced community and reaffirm the commitment as a Parliament to do all that it can to support care experienced children and young people and amplify their voices; celebrates the opportunity for the care experienced community to come together and connect at events; considers that care experienced children and young people of all ages require additional protections to access their rights, and wishes all care experienced children and young people all the very best for the future.
