Bryan Keye from Tillicoultry Smashes Record During Charity Run

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates long distance runner, Bryan Keye, from Tillicoultry, on completing a run from Glasgow to Edinburgh in the fastest time in history; understands that he clocked in a time of 10 hours, 10 minutes and two seconds, which smashed the previous fastest record of 10 hours and 20 minutes; further understands that Bryan ran to raise money for Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire, which has helped support his mother, who suffers from a lung condition; notes that he also ran wearing a 15kg weighted vest in order to replicate the restricted feeling that his mother feels when her condition is at its worst; understands that he raised £1,770.11, which he presented to Linda McLeod, chair of Breath Easy Clackmannanshire, and wishes Bryan well for his future endeavours.
