Perthshire Named Most Welcoming Region in the World by Travel Website

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Perthshire on being named the most welcoming region in the world by online holiday website Booking.com; notes that Booking.com highlighted the region’s 200,000 acres of woodlands, charming rivers and waterfalls as part of its appeal; further notes that the website states that there are many great places to stay in Perthshire, ranging from Tay House to Lands of Loyal, and notes that Booking.com looked at more than 309 million verified customer reviews focusing on consistently excellent service and hospitality as part of the travel site's 12th Annual Traveller Review Awards.
