Ramadan Mubarak 2024

The motion

That the Parliament notes the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which will begin on 11 March 2024 and will last for 30 days; understands that the ninth month of the Islamic calendar is a month of fasting from sunrise until sunset, spent in prayer and good deeds; appreciates the charitable giving during this month to those who are less fortunate and in need, and wishes all those celebrating in Scotland, the rest of the UK and around the world a Ramadan Mubarak.
