New Perth Museum Celebrates Award of Five Stars by VisitScotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the new Perth Museum on reaching another milestone by being awarded five stars by VisitScotland; understands that the £27 million venue was described as “hard to fault” by VisitScotland, and that it praised museum staff for their friendliness and hospitality; further understands that the venue’s cleanliness, catering, retail and overall visitor experience found favour, and that Stone, the Perth Museum café, was also awarded Taste Our Best status, which is given to venues that provide and promote locally-sourced, high-quality food and drink; acknowledges that more than 50,000 visitors have already passed through the doors of Perth Museum, which opened two months ago, and which features the Stone of Destiny, and wishes Perth Museum all the best for the future.
