Commending Dumfries High School Projects

The motion

That the Parliament commends the Dumfries High School captains, Deya Slavova and Lucy Barr, along with the staff, and headteacher, Phil Cubbon, for their commitment to projects to commemorate the move to a new school building in spring 2026; understands that staff and pupils are working on two projects to commemorate and mark the history of the school, including a book and a film; highlights their efforts to encourage former pupils and staff to submit contributions, such as scarves and photos, to the projects as the school prepares to move to its new £57 million facility, and wishes the staff and pupils well ahead of their move to the new school building.
