East Neuk Kilnhouse Wins 2025 Great Taste Supreme Champion Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the team at East Neuk Kilnhouse on winning two awards in the Great Taste Awards 2025 for its hot smoked mackerel fillets, including the competition’s top prize; understands that the company received the Great Taste Golden Fork from Scotland for its product, which also garnered the Great Taste Supreme Champion award; further understands that the judges believed that the smoked mackerel had a “wonderful balance of oil, smoke and salt”; notes that East Neuk Kilnhouse was shortlisted from 14,340 entrants to claim the top prize; recognises that the small company has flourished thanks to hard work and its hands-on approach, and wishes the company continued success.
