East Dunbartonshire Primary Schools Recognised Among Scotland’s Top Performers

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Craigdhu, Milngavie, Westerton, Baljaffray, Balmuildy, Bearsden, Clober, Killermont, Lenzie Meadow, Holy Trinity, Oxgang, Harestanes, Gartconner, St Machan’s and Meadowburn primary schools in East Dunbartonshire on their remarkable achievement of being ranked among Scotland’s top performing schools in 2025; recognises the unwavering commitment of these schools to academic excellence and the holistic development of their pupils; acknowledges the tireless efforts of teachers, support staff, parents and carers in creating nurturing environments where young learners can thrive; commends the innovative approaches that have enabled these schools to excel in literacy and numeracy, with several attaining perfect scores and five securing places in the national top 50, and wishes all 15 schools continued success.
