Kirkcaldy Boys Club Double Celebration
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirkcaldy Boys Club on its centenary at its original site in Rose Street; further congratulates the club on its 60th anniversary of moving to Templehall; notes that the club then eventually became the Linton Lane Centre; understands that a week of special events is planned for April 2026, with celebrations also planned for the whole of the year; commends the centre for becoming a much-valued hub in the community with a beautifully refurbished main hall and for providing a huge variety of activities, including martial arts, emergency food provision, toddler groups, senior citizen groups, mental health support and a variety of sports and music activities, and believes that an exhibition is also being organised, incorporating a significant amount of archived material.
