Local Authorities (Changes to Years of Ordinary Elections) (England) Order 2025
Baroness Scott of Bybrook moved that this House regrets that the Local Authorities (Changes to Years of Ordinary Elections) (England) Order 2025, laid before the House on 11 February, damages the democratic accountability of local authorities to local residents, and has not been subject to full and proper consultation (SI 2025/137). The House divided:
The Not Contents have it
Majority 13
At a glance The Not Contents won by a margin of 13 votes. The Government's position was Not Content, and it won.

Peers attend divisions ad hoc, so there is no did-not-vote list. Tellers are counted in the Content and Not Content totals, unlike in the Commons.
