Civil Aviation (Consumer Protection and Regulatory Reform) Bill [HL]

Lord Moylan moved amendment 3, in clause 1, page 1, line 12, at end to insert—“(1A) When making regulations under subsection (1), the Secretary of State must have regard to promoting economic growth.(1B) In complying with subsection (1A), the Secretary of State must in particular consider the impact of the regulations on—(a) the competitiveness of air transport service providers and airport operators,(b) investment in the United Kingdom aviation sector, and(c) the burdens imposed on air transport service providers and airport operators in complying with the regulations.”The House divided:
