It was moved by the Lord Privy Seal (Lord Williams of Mostyn) that this House approves Option 3 (80 per cent appointed/20 per cent elected) in the Report from the Joint Committee on House of Lords Reform; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
