Job Losses in Dalgety Bay, Fife

The motion

That the Parliament views with regret the announcement of the closure of the Optical Coating Laboratory Inc in Dalgety Bay, Fife with the loss of 160 jobs; recognises that this news will come as a devastating blow to the affected workers and their families, and calls upon the Scottish Executive to support the efforts of the local authority and enterprise agencies in their efforts to assist with the redeployment and retraining of those involved.
