International Forest Fest 2002
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the International Forest Fest 2002 will be held at Lockerbie on 25 to 28 September 2002; further notes that the event will not only be the flagship of Treefest Scotland 2002 but will also bring together for the first time in the UK two major biennial events, the 25th World Logging Championships and the APF International Forest Machinery Exhibition, along with many other prestigious competitions and varied forest events; congratulates all those involved in organising this unique forest spectacular and bringing it to Scotland, and sends its best wishes for a successful event, not only to the organisers, but also to the many thousands of competitors, exhibitors and visitors attending the event.
