Attacks on Fire Engine Crews
The motion
That the Parliament condemns the recent stone-throwing attack on a fire fighter in Ayrshire and the rising number of such attacks in the Strathclyde area and calls for more funding and resources to be made available by the Scottish Executive to local fire services to allow more work with local schools and youth groups to highlight the invaluable work performed by fire fighters and to build bridges between emergency service workers and local youths.
