Greenock Telegraph's Blood Donor Appeal
The motion
That the Parliament supports the Greenock Telegraph’s Blood Donor Appeal to highlight the importance of giving blood and encourage more donors to come forward and notes that, thanks to the fantastic commitment of approximately 180,000 donors in Scotland, despite constantly struggling to maintain a three-day minimum supply level, the blood transfusion service continues to meet Scottish hospitals’ demand for 1,000 donations of blood every single day.
