Congratulations to Castlemilk Stables Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Castlemilk Stables Project on winning a Civic Trust Award 2008; notes that this creative restoration project delivered by Cassiltoun Trust and Glasgow Building Preservation Trust saved a derelict Category B Georgian building and created a new community resource; further notes that the project shows best practice in conservation and sustainability through design excellence, local job creation and the introduction of ground source heat energy to an historic building, and encourages support for investment in historic building projects in Scotland which contribute to local regeneration.
