Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Galloway Forest Park on being designated as a Dark Sky Park by the International Dark Sky Association; notes that Galloway Forest Park is the only Dark Sky Park outside the United States of America; considers that the unique daylight quality of Galloway has attracted artists to live and work in the area for many generations, and further considers this a significant achievement and a significant boost for tourism in Dumfries and Galloway.
