Congratulations to St Mungo's Academy
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates St Mungo’s Academy of the east end of Glasgow for its achievement of one of the best secondary school reports from HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE); recognises the outstanding leadership of the headteacher, Mr John Reilly, and the commitment of his staff and faculty to school improvement and to setting high expectations of success for all young people and staff; applauds the faculty for its determination to provide pupils with a very broad range of experiences to meet their needs while challenging them to achieve their potential; recognises the pupils, staff and headteacher for a strong and shared commitment to bringing out the best in all to make the school very well-placed to continue to provide a high quality of education, and, finally, hopes for the continued improvement of St Mungo’s Academy in serving the communities of the east end.
