Congratulations to Kirkcaldy Lifeguards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates lifeguards Steven Thomson and Craig Early from Kirkcaldy whose fast actions and quick thinking saved a young boy from drowning; commends the professionalism of the seasonal Fife Council employees, both 20, who saw three boys in difficulty in the Firth of Forth from their lifeguard hut and sprang into action; notes that they contacted the RNLI coastguard who arrived quickly on the scene and went out on the rescue boat, found the remaining boy in danger and pulled him to safety and waiting paramedics; praises the lifeguards and RNLI coastguards for their efforts, and recognises the importance of volunteer lifeguard crews across Scotland.
