Voices in Paisley 2010 Festival
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Voices in Paisley 2010 Music Festival for organising what is considered a successful choral programme for the seventh year running; notes that Aled Jones will perform in Paisley for the first time ever supporting the Festival Chorus at Paisley Abbey; considers the festival to be a significant contribution to arts and culture through its ability to attract a wide range of national and international performers, and commends all voluntary, civic and public bodies working to promote Paisley as Scotland’s choir town.
