Congratulations to Fifeworks
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fifeworks on winning the Workforce for the Future award at the recent Fife Partnership Excellence Awards; notes that the Kingdom Housing Association project and its staff aim to get unemployed people into work and training courses by providing customised vocational training; welcomes the regular consultation by Fifeworks with local employers regarding the design and delivery of its training programmes to ensure their continued relevance, and applauds the commitment and dedication of all involved in the project, which it understands has helped over 500 unemployed people find work and over 1,000 unemployed people undertake training courses since 2008.
