North West Resource Centre, the Star of Dumfries
The motion
That the Parliament notes with pleasure the North West Resource Centre in Dumfries’s success in winning two awards at the Scottish Qualification Authority’s Annual Star Awards held on 9 November 2012; congratulates the staff and everyone involved in enabling the centre to win the Lifelong Learning Centre of the Year Award and the Pride o’ Worth Award, the SQA’s highest accolade, and considers that together these awards highlight the centre’s ability to deliver real and sustained learning to learners of all ages in an exceptional and inspirational manner.
