Lodged by Brian Adam Standard Motion 25 supporters

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of a new £110 million emergency care centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary; congratulates NHS Grampian on delivering what it sees as this major infrastructure project on time and in budget; understands that the state-of-the-art development, which has been designed in partnership with clinical staff to ensure that the most modern and effective care can be delivered, brings together the area's emergency and urgent care facilities into one building for the first time; welcomes news that, in line with infection control guidelines and offering patients improved privacy, 75% of the rooms are single occupancy, and wishes NHS Grampian continued success as the redevelopment of two further hospital buildings progresses.
