St Andrew's Day Celebrated on the High Seas
The motion
That the Parliament applauds the crew of HMS Montrose, who took time out of their tour in the Middle East to celebrate their strong connections to the county of Angus; understands that the ship’s company gathered on the flight deck to form a St Andrew's cross before breaking to compete in a Highland games; notes that the mess deck provided some Scottish fare after the games, such as stovies and cranachen, and considers that the most Scottish ship in the fleet is the pride of Angus.
