Strandline, a Beachcomber’s Guide to the Solway Coast
The motion
That the Parliament notes that 3 April 2014 will see the launch at the Mill on the Fleet in Gatehouse of Fleet of an exhibition and booklet, Strandline, a Beachcomber’s Guide to the Solway Coast, which has been produced by the Solway Firth Partnership-managed project, Making the Most of the Coast; understands that the exhibition and booklet are intended to stimulate interest in Dumfries and Galloway’s richly varied coastline, which is more than 200 miles long and encompasses a wide variety of landscapes and natural habitats; congratulates Making the Most of the Coast and the Solway Firth Partnership on their efforts to promote the north Solway coast, and hopes that the exhibition will be a success.
