Congratulations to Pilton Community Health Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Pilton Community Health Project on its Moving Forward review winning an NHS Physical Activity and Health Alliance award in recognition of its wide-ranging participatory research with the community in north Edinburgh that has built on the experience and knowledge existing in that area; welcomes the clear set of objectives that has resulted from this, which seek to increase physical activity participation in the area; believes that the community is now involved in developing an action plan in collaboration with local and city-wide partners, and celebrates what it sees as yet another triumph for the Pilton Community Health Project, which has championed a community development approach to health for over 30 years.
