The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Forfar has become the first town in Scotland to introduce a town website incorporating e-commerce, which will allow residents and visitors to discover, browse and buy products from businesses that opt to be a part of the website; believes that this is an opportunity for Forfar to showcase its array of stores and establishments and will undoubtedly serve as an economic stimulus for the town, and encourages other businesses in Forfar to join the website’s catalogue.
