South Lanarkshire College Skills Demonstration for Modern Apprenticeship Week
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the event held in East Kilbride Shopping Centre on 22-23 May 2014 as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week, which featured apprentices from South Lanarkshire College demonstrating their skills in roof slating, joinery and painting and decorating; understands that this event was open to the public to help promote the options available to people in South Lanarkshire interested in undertaking a modern apprenticeship, and congratulates South Lanarkshire College and all those colleges, training providers and agencies that ensured that Scottish Apprenticeship Week was, it considers, a success, with 130 separate events being held across Scotland.
