Congratulations to Steve Langan and Friends on Completing Mongol Rally
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Steve Langan, Peter Martin and Rodger Williams, known collectively as The League of Extraordinary Kriespielers, on their completion of the Mongol Rally 2014, which is a 10,000 mile journey from London to Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, in a car with a no bigger than 1 litre engine; notes that they have raised over £57,000 so far for Melanoma Action and Support Scotland (MASScot); understands that the team decided to raise money after Steve’s sister, Anne Fisher from Greenock, sadly passed away after a battle with melanoma last year, and notes that the funds raised from the team’s effort will go towards the funding of a new project to be decided by Anne’s brother Steve and MASScot in the near future.
