Motion · S4M-10941 · 8 Sep 2014
RBS Lochwinnoch
The motion
That the Parliament notes with concern the decision by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to close its branch in Lochwinnoch; believes that this branch, which is the only bank in Lochwinnoch, is a vital part of village life; understands that RBS decided to close the branch while still awarding massive bonuses to a handful of its executives; believes that branch closures such as this are harming communities across Scotland, and calls on RBS to reconsider this and other closures in Scotland.
