Congratulations to Newton Stewart ARC
The motion
That the Parliament notes the success of the Newton Stewart Activity and Resource Centre (ARC) in being awarded the highest possible grades across all aspects of its work by the Care Inspectorate; recognises that the service, which provides personal development opportunities and support for adults with learning difficulties, has been awarded the highest grades a registered service can achieve in Scotland for its quality of care and support, environment, staffing, management and leadership; commends what it considers the innovation and unique contribution that Cree Studio has made to the centre with its music and short film recording studio, delivered in partnership with Turning Point Scotland; further notes that the studio received a special commendation at the Scottish Social Services Council Care Accolades in 2013, and wishes everyone involved with Newton Stewart ARC well for the future.
