New Chair of the Scottish Crofting Federation
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the appointment of Fiona Mandeville as the chair of the Scottish Crofting Federation (SCF); congratulates the former chair, Derek Flyn, on his work for the body; recognises Fiona's experience as a founding member of the Scottish Crofters Union, which she helped run for 15 years; is pleased to note that the SCF board is now 40% female; recognises what it considers the importance of the work of the SCF in representing crofting developments and working toward progressive land reform, and wishes both Fiona and the SCF well for the future.
