Increasing Bus Fares Cause for Concern
The motion
That the Parliament notes with concern the announcement by McGill’s Buses that bus fares are being increased at a time when oil prices are tumbling; regrets the increase of 5.6% in the price of some day tickets, and believes that the Scottish Government should act to protect the interests of fare-paying passengers as well as concessionary travel card users.
