The Scottish Wholesale Industry
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the importance of Scotland's wholesale industry to the nation’s food and drink sector and the wider economy; believes that more than 15,000 people are employed directly in this diverse industry, which includes large household names and family-run businesses; understands that the Scottish Wholesale Association established the Achievers Awards in 2002 to raise standards and recognise excellence and professionalism in the industry, and congratulates all of the nominees and winners of the 2015 awards, which were held in Edinburgh on 12 February 2015.
