Scottish Youth Parliament Elections
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the north east’s newly-elected members of the Scottish Youth Parliament; notes that they are Alexander McLellan (Aberdeen Central), Martin Close (Aberdeen Donside), Megan Lukins and Mark Swan (Aberdeen South), Anna Cameron and Kain McLeod (Aberdeenshire East), Kyle Michie and Luke McLeod (Aberdeenshire West), Robbie Nicol and Ross Alexander (Angus North and Mearns), Colleen Brown and Kieran Pannell (Angus South), Travis Beattie (Banffshire and Buchan Coast) and Andrew Ross, Emily Mather, Maryam Deeni and Muzdalfa Ahmed (Dundee); understands that the youth parliament provides an important platform for young people to discuss issues; considers these young parliamentarians to be at the forefront of youth engagement in the north east, and wishes them the best of luck in their roles.
